TUTORIAL DESCRIPTION This is a photo that was taken at the top of the Mont-du-Lac-des-Cygnes in Charlevoix, Quebec. The photo could have been better if I had a reflector (or a off-camera flash) – but unless you are doing a photo shoot, you won’t have those with you when going up a mountain or anywhere else in nature. But that’s not a problem because with some good color grading, we can create a photo that looks like it was taken with all the fancy gears! Btw, I wouldn’t recommend shooting Multi-Exposures without a tripod for HDR but if you are only planning to work on only one photo, having different exposures of a photo can really be helpful as you will be able to take elements (like the sky) from an over or under exposed photo and mix it with the photo you are working on. I unfortunately didn’t think of doing that back then as the sky would have been much better!
In this 45-minute video tutorial I will show you how you can get the most out of a RAW photo and fix any issues you could have when your subject or the sky couldn’t be properly exposed. We will increase the details and colors in the photo to make every elements in it “pop”!
